Previously owned by only one other person, she has been well maintained and upgraded on route. Her current owner is an extremely capable and ingenious boat builder and carpenter who has adapted the immense hard top bimini in the cockpit, and also built the fiberglass tender, which is one of the most well balanced and capable tenders I have seen in a long time.

She is UK registered, with VAT paid, and comes with an impressive inventory. The 4 cabin version, she will suite a family, or two couples, or be a fabulous charter boat to entertain friends and family. Perfect for surf trips to Sumatra! A spacious saloon, where the table drops down to create a HUGE comfy bed for relaxing on anchor, snuggling to watch a movie, or to bunk up whilst on passage and alternating night watches.
Her cockpit is fully enclosed with a backing trim, and can easily seat 8-10 people. Engines are located from the transom steps, so external access makes engine work easy, and with no need to disturb the aft berths.
Xanadu had an extensive upgrade in New Zealand in 2015, where she had her mast and rigging overhauled, and the new rigging is actually classed as over spec. She also had a brand new 10 ounce Ullman fully battened main sail tailored for her, and the owner is currently in the process of having Xanadus brand new 110% Genoa shipped to Langkawi. Additionally, she has 50 m of new chain, a Loftrans Tigres 1200w windlass, a Katadyn 80E 12v watermaker, hot water, and a 1200 watt Pure Sine Inverter.
