Waldringfield, Woodbridge Suffolk UK|
The Seamaster 23 is a safe, comfortable, well respected cruising yacht with the benefit of a lifting keel, making them ideal for use in shallow waters or for exploring creeks. 'Silvano' was fitted with a new Nanni diesel engine in 2012. Sails can be controlled and reefed from the safety of the cockpit, making it easy to manage single-handed.
Silvano has been well looked after and is ready to sail away. Equipment includes Autopilot, an electric anchor windlass, wind, speed and depth instruments and a gas heater.
Silvano has been a brilliant first boat and we've had lots of fun in her. We have used her with our young children and have found the Seamaster 23 to be a reassuringly robust, comfortable, easy and family friendly yacht to sail. I'm only selling her as she's given me the confidence to move on to a bigger boat.
Viewing - currently afloat on the River Deben at Waldringfield, just off the beach so a very short dinghy ride.

The accommodation offers up to five berths in two cabins. The V berth in the forecabin has bookshelves above and storage below. We made an infill for this V berth so that it can double up as a safe play den for our young children or comfortable bedroom with a larger sleeping area. There is a curtain to separate this cabin from the heads area and a folding door to the saloon. Par marine sea toilet. Opposite the heads is the Force Ten gas heater, hanging storage and wet lockers. In the main cabin, there is a folding table extension (see photos). The dinette to port drops down to form a comfortable double berth. The table also contains a compartment for chart stowage.
