Approximately 100 Seamaster 820s were built between 1979 and 1981. Wide side decks for easy all-round access, a large cockpit and spacious accommodation all help to make the 820 a good all-round pleasure cruiser for friends and family. Aft cockpit with rear bench seating in black vinyl upholstery, matching helm and co-pilot seats, access floor panels to the engine bay, bilges, tanks, stowage, LPG locker and several lazarette lockers, port side helm position. Central door, sliding hatch and steps lead to the cabin area comprising-:
WC/shower compartment to starboard with mosaic tiled walls, shower, wash basin and mixer tap, vanity unit, electric macerator toilet, shower curtain, bathroom cabinet, light and towel rail.
Galley to starboard with several storage drawers and cupboards, deck level storage shelf, formica work top, stainless steel sink and drainer with mixer tap, under-counter cooker and 12v fridge.
Dinette to port with shelving, a pair of de-mountable tables to convert into a double berth, lots of storage beneath the seating and a forward half-height storage unit.
A split bulkhead with a further storage cupboard to starboard forms a partial separation with the forward vee berths. There is storage beneath the berths with infill sections to form a double berth, deck level shelving, access to the bow thruster and chain locker, and Houdini hatch above.
The interior benefits from lots of natural light through the large windows and the finish is predominantly the original fit-out with varnished joinery, tongue and groove head linings, neutral side linings, light green upholstery, cream curtains, beige carpets, 12v cabin lighting. Cabin headroom 6' (1.83m) minimum.

Construction

GRP moulded, modified vee hull with three-quarter length keel, red non-slip GRP decks, GRP moulded superstructure, alloy and PVC gunwale fendering, stainless steel pulpit and grab rails, stainless deck stanchions and plastic coated guard wire, alloy deck fittings, Houdini hatch, alloy framed cabin windows and cockpit screens, stainless steel canopy frame and recent red fabric canopy. Seamaster build no.6205 .

Equipment

2 x 4.5kg butane gas bottle, calorifier tank coupled to the engine, Coolmatic Waeco 40L fridge, Parker LPG cooker, fire extinguishers and blanket, automatic bilge pumps, Sanimarin electric macerator toilet and holding tank, boat hook, anchor x 2.

Navigation Equipment

Engine(s)

Thornycroft T-108 47hp diesel engine coupled to a shaft drive via a Newage PRM160 hydraulic gearbox. Single lever control, oil pressure, temperature, RPM, voltage, engine hours, fuel gauges, NASA speed and depth logs. Vetus bow thruster.

Electrics

12v - 1 x engine, 2 x bow thruster and 3 x 110Ah leisure batteries, fridge, navigation lights, anchor light, spot light, screen wipers, CD/radio player, horn, cigar lighter sockets, cockpit and cabin lighting.
230v - shore power lead and hook-up, consumer unit, immersion heater, Mastervolt charger, plug sockets, engine bay heater, shaver socket, cabin heater.

Certification

Boat Safety Certificate expires 01/08/2024.
