MECHANICAL
Vetus M2.06 twin cylinder 16hp inboard diesel engine fitted new in 2017. 100 litre fuel tank. Current engine hours around 200. Shaft drive to fixed propeller. Cruising speed under engine is around 5 knots with a max speed of around 7.5 knots.

ELECTRICAL
Alternator charging to 2 x 12v batteries.

NAVIGATION
Compass, VHF radio, Autohelm ST1000 tiller pilot, navigation lights, steaming light, tri-colour masthead light and anchor light.

SAFETY
Horseshoe lifebuoy, fire extinguishers, manual bilge pump.

DECK GEAR
Stainless steel pushpit, pulpit and guardwires, blue sprayhood, spray dodgers, cockpit cushions, boarding ladder, tiller, sheet winches and halyard winches, CQR main anchor with 20m chain and 10m warp, 2 mooring warps and 4 fenders.

SAILS
Slab reefing mainsail, fully battened (Jeckells 2002) with Jeckells Mainmate sail cover. Genoa roller reefing system with furling No 1 Genoa (1999). Storm jib and tri sail. All lines led aft to cockpit. Stainless steel standing rigging.

DOMESTIC
Her galley has a gas cooker with 2 burners, oven and grill, 12v refrigerator, pots, pans, cutlery and crockery, water supply from 60 litre freshwater tank. Her separate heads compartment has a marine toilet. Blue fabric upholstery renewed around 8 years ago.

ACCOMMODATION

6 berths in 2 cabins with around 5'10" headroom.

Fast, safe, good looking pedigree craft that has looked after me and my young family on numerous North sea crossings in a variety of conditions. Always felt safe. Seaminx is a real little ship you only have to look at the size of the rigging on similar length vessels and the beautiful tumblehome sets her apart. The build quality is to a high standard and she is ready for the next adventure. Sadly we have not been able to use her as much as she deserves ! She is neat and tidy and ready for her next adventure!

Her 2019 survey remarked Seaminx was built to a high standard and her hull and structure remains in a sound structural condition. Her original fit out was done to a high standard. Her engine has been recently fitted and her rig remains in sound order.
